Since 1999, under President Bill Clinton, June has been recognized as “Pride Month.” Pride Month is a month dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQ lifestyle, meaning it is a month filled with debauchery. So-called Pride parades have been held for years across the nation featuring all kinds of unspeakable sexual acts done in public and in front of children. Praise God that over the last few years, more Americans are refusing to celebrate Pride Month. Instead, many Americans are celebrating Fidelity month

Robert P. George, a Princeton law professor and great thinker, first brought forth the idea of Fidelity Month as a calendar month for Americans to recommit to the most important relationships they have. These are highly important relationships that we have in life that start first and foremost with God, then our spouse, our children, our church, our country, and more. The 2026 Kentucky General Assembly rightly rejected Pride by adopting Senate Resolution 148. This resolution, introduced by Senator Aaron Reed, recognizes June 2026 as Fidelity Month

To show how out of step Governor Beshear is with Kentuckians, he signed a proclamation on Friday, recognizing June as Pride Month. Instead of advocating for a month of debauchery, Governor Beshear should come into step with most Kentuckians and acknowledge the month of June as Fidelity Month.

Taking pride in sexual perversion is a rejection of God’s good plan for human sexuality. Rejecting this only leads to destruction. May we celebrate Fidelity this month and experience the blessings of God as we strengthen our relationship with Him, our family, and others.

LET US PRAY…

Father, please enlighten those who are actively celebrating “Pride Month” to realize that, in actuality, they are celebrating sin. Lord, help us as Your people to always speak the truth, even when it is not easy. Father, may the month of June be collectively understood by our nation as a time to celebrate fidelity. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
