Starting today in Genesis 1, believers from across the country will gather in Washington, D.C. to read the Bible aloud, cover to cover, at the Museum of the Bible!
America Reads the Bible is a sacred opportunity ahead of the United States’ 250th anniversary to elevate scripture in American public life, call our nation back to its spiritual foundations, and ignite revival through the power and promise of God’s unchanging Word.
For one week, April 18-25, 2026, The Family Foundation and our allies at Christians Engaged are helping lead nearly 500 ministry leaders, elected officials, and influential Christian voices from across the country together to read the entire Bible out loud to form the largest public reading of scripture in American history that will be broadcast across the entire nation!
Readers will include President Donald Trump, Franklin Graham, Candace Cameron Bure, David Barton, Ambassador Mike Huckabee, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Gov. Ron DeSantis, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Eric Metaxas, and more than 450 others.
The Family Foundation is leading a special delegation of key leaders from Kentucky joining me that will include Addia Wuchner with Kentucky Right to Life and Greg Williams with Love & Lordship. We will be reading on the last day on Saturday, April 25 in the 4-5 PM EST hour.
