Poll Finds Fewer Americans Believe that Homosexuality Is Moral

“So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” – Matthew 19:6

Every May, Gallup pollsters release their “Values and Beliefs” poll that reveals how Americans view various moral issues. In this Gallup poll, that was released just weeks ago, the findings showed a glimmer of hope in how Americans view marriage.

In 2022, the “Values and Beliefs” poll found that 71% of Americans believed that same-sex relations were morally acceptable. Now just a year later, the poll found that Americans who view same-sex relations as morally acceptable have fallen by 7% and currently stand at 63%.

This is just yet another instance that reveals that the LGBTQ+ movement is losing momentum in America. The faulty worldview of the LGBTQ+ cannot stand the test of time as it is built on the sinking sand of immoral and sinful desires.

This is an encouraging poll as it shows that Americans are returning to the true understanding of marriage that is defined in the Word of God. As Americans, we must realize that if we desire to see the blessings of God on our nation then we cannot not adopt worldviews that are in contradiction to the Scriptures but must uphold Scriptural truth as it is the only solid foundation for a flourishing nation.

LET US PRAY…

Father, we praise You for the findings in this poll that reveals that Americans are returning to Your truth about marriage. Lord, we pray that our nation as a whole will return to Your truth on all issues. Father, help us to be effective, winsome, and articulate advocates for Your truth in Kentucky and America. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
