Thursday, May 7, 2026, will be the 75th annual National Day of Prayer in America. Since 1952, the first Thursday in May of each year has been used to observe the National Day of Prayer, which aims to mobilize unified public prayer in and for America.

With the multitude of issues, complexities, and difficulties facing our nation right now, we need to collectively pray to the Lord for our nation that we so dearly love. To do that, the National Day of Prayer has facilitated tens of thousands of public gatherings across America at City Halls, Courthouses, Churches, and other venues to pray to God for our nation.

The theme of this year’s National Day of Prayer comes from 1 Chronicles 16:24, and it is, “Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations.” Let us seek the face of God tomorrow as a nation, and in prayer ask Him to ignite a revival throughout America so that our nation may truly bring Him glory.

Members of The Family Foundation team will be attending and participating in various prayer gatherings throughout the state, and we encourage you to do the same. As a nation, let us pray tomorrow in confidence, knowing that God is more than able to grant any request that we bring to Him (Mark 11:24).

LET US PRAY…

Father, we pray that You will use this National Day of Prayer to ignite a revival in America so that we may be a nation that brings You honor. Lord, we thank You that we can pray to You in confidence, knowing that You will answer our request according to Your perfect wisdom. Father, we praise You that we live in a nation where we can freely gather at public locations and pray to You without fear. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
