The Walt Disney Company Realizes the Costs of Going Woke

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” – Galatians 6:7-8

Much of corporate America, companies like Target and others, have completely submitted to LGBTQ ideology and have promoted it through the companies’ advertisements, products, and more. Unfortunately, the Walt Disney Company is no different as it has clearly pushed LGBTQ ideology in its entertainment products by being “really open to exploring queer stories” and by featuring “gender nonconforming” and “trans characters.”

The decision of the Walt Disney Company to go woke and push the faulty LGBTQ worldview has proven to be very costly for the company. The company’s annual report to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission which was filed last month revealed that the company’s wokeness is damaging its shareholders and the company’s profit.

In the Walt Disney Company’s Form-10K, the company conceded, “We face risks relating to misalignment with public and consumer tastes and preferences for entertainment, travel and consumer products, which impact demand for our entertainment offerings and products and the profitability of any of our businesses.”

Simply put, the company is admitting that too many customers are rejecting the LGBTQ worldview that is being pushed on them and their children by the company and that this is greatly hurting the company’s bottom line. This story is a positive indicator that shows companies, like the Walt Disney Company and Target, are waking up to the reality that they have gone too far in pushing the LGBTQ agenda on the American people.

Americans have and are continuing to send a strong message this Holiday season that they will not stand back and just allow powerful companies to shove the LGBTQ agenda on them and their children without these companies seeing it hurt their bottom line.

Father, empower parents all across our nation to step up and protect their children from powerful companies that desire to push the LGBTQ agenda on the public. Lord, may companies, like Walt Disney and Target, reverse course and stop their activism for the LGBTQ worldview. Father, continue to strengthen Your people to remain diligent in standing for truth in our culture. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
