Let Us Pray

South Dakota Saves Women's Sports (February 7, 2022)

“Furthermore, you shall select out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, those who hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them as leaders…” – Exodus 18:21

Last Thursday, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem signed the Save Women’s Sports Act into law.

Ten states have now protected fairness and opportunity in girls’ sports.

“This bill has been an important priority for a lot of the people behind me,” Noem said as she signed the bill at a news conference, “and I appreciate all of their hard work in making sure that girls will always have the opportunity to play in girls sports in South Dakota and have an opportunity for a level playing field, for fairness, that gives them the chance to experience success.”

Momentum is building on this important common sense legislation, but there is still opposition within the Kentucky General Assembly that is attempting to undermine our efforts.

Now, more than ever, we need leaders who fear God and are willing to do the right thing.

Thankfully, 6 Kentucky senators and 25 Kentucky representatives have taken a stand by sponsoring the Save Women’s Sports Act.

Let us pray that this important legislation is soon passed by the Kentucky General Assembly, so that fairness and opportunity is protected for our girls.

LET US PRAY . . .
Father, we thank You that another state is recognizing Your design of male and female. We praise You for the 31 Kentucky legislators that have taken a stand for what is right and fair, but we also ask You that more will step up in boldness. Please enable the Kentucky General Assembly to pass the Save Women’s Sports Act. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
