"Humanity in Healthcare Act" Filed (February 11, 2022)

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” – Psalm 139:13

On Wednesday, February 8, 2022, Rep. Nancy Tate filed House Bill 3 the “Humanity in Healthcare Act.” The “Humanity in Healthcare Act” is a massive pro-life omnibus bill containing many important pro-life provisions.

House Bill 3 seeks to promote and protect the value and dignity of human life in the medical profession. The “Humanity in Healthcare Act” is a massive pro-life bill made up of a sizeable 60-pages.

One key provision found in the bill is that it prohibits abortion-inducing drugs from being provided by courier, delivery, or mail service or in any school facility or on state grounds. Another key provision in the bill is the requiring of dignified disposal of fetal remains. Also, there is a key provision prohibiting the use of public funds for abortion procedures. These are a few among other important pro-life provisions in the pro-life omnibus bill.

God has created each person whether inside or outside the womb with intrinsic worth and value stemming from being created in His very image. The “Humanity in Healthcare Act” is another step forward in protecting the dignity of human life here in the Commonwealth. The KY General Assembly needs to step up and pass this important pro-life bill.

LET US PRAY . . .
Father, enlighten every Kentucky legislator to the reality that You have created each person whether inside or outside the womb in Your Almighty image. Lord, give the KY General Assembly the courage and strength to pass this important pro-life bill. May Kentucky very soon be a state where abortion is no longer tolerated and extinguished forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
