Let Us Pray

Kentucky is a pro-life state with laws that protect human life from conception to natural death. Sadly, to circumvent these pro-life laws, the billion-dollar abortion industry is aggressively promoting its new game plan: illegally trafficking abortion death pills into our Commonwealth.

But it doesn’t stop there. The culture of death is expanding its horizons to also advocate for assisted-suicide across the nation. In Kentucky, assisted suicide is illegal. However, with the cross-border trafficking of suicide drugs, it’s likely proponents of the culture of death will try to traffic drugs for assisted suicide into our Commonwealth as well.

To protect our Commonwealth from the trafficking of these life-terminating pharmaceuticals, Rep. Nancy Tate and Rep. TJ Roberts recently introduced HB 646, “An Act Relating to Pharmaceuticals That Terminate Life.” This is a major priority pro-life bill that defends Kentuckians against the abortion cartel’s death pill trafficking.

This legislative measure guarantees that anyone who willfully violates Kentucky’s pro-life laws by supplying or participating in the illegal trafficking of life-ending drugs into Kentucky can face significant criminal and civil penalties. This bill desperately needs to be passed in Kentucky as it will provide much-needed protection for the unborn, mothers, the elderly, those with disabilities, and more.

For our “Let Us Pray” devotionals during the 2026 KY General Assembly, we will be taking time during the legislative session to encourage you to pray, by name, for our elected leaders (see below). Let us commit to praying regularly for our Kentucky governmental leaders to act in ways that bring honor and glory to Jesus Christ and are a blessing to our Commonwealth.

LET US PRAY…

Father, we praise You for the courage of Rep. Nancy Tate and Rep. TJ Roberts to file HB 646 that seeks to protect human life and help stop the trafficking of the abortion death pills across Kentucky. Lord, grant this important legislative measure favor in both the Kentucky House and Senate. Father, may our Commonwealth be a place where human life is truly cherished, protected, and honored. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
