Let Us Pray

National March for Life

“Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.” – Genesis 2:7

Today is the annual, “National March for Life” where a multitude of pro-life Americans will gather together to march through the streets of our nation’s capitol to send an unequivocal message. The message that will resound from Capitol Hill today is this, America must become a country that genuinely honors and respects human life.

To restore a culture of life in the United States, abortion must not only become an issue of the past but must become literally unimaginable to Americans at large. Every year the National March for Life is vitally important and special as the dignity and beauty of human life are celebrated.

However, this year’s National March for Life is a little different as this is the first one since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and returned the issue of abortion back to the state level. Although we live in a post-Roe nation now, the work to defend and protect human life remains greatly needed.

That is why today, the largest annual human rights demonstration in the world will take place as bold and fearless Americans for life will descend upon Capitol Hill to proclaim that life is sacred and must be protected. Let us join with our fellow pro-life Americans today, whether with them in the march or afar, in proclaiming that life is a fundamental human right and that each person is created in the image of God and has inherent dignity and worth.

LET US PRAY…

Father, may abortion one day in our nation be viewed collectively as an unimaginable horror. Lord, empower us to protect and defend human life not only in Kentucky but also throughout our nation. Father, thank You for the precious gift of life that You have given to us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
