The 2026 midterm elections are quickly approaching, as they will be held on November 3rd. The importance of the November elections cannot be overstated. Voters will decide the races for Congress, governor, and other important state races.

Today, October 5th, is the last day for Kentuckians to register to vote ahead of the November midterms. There are multiple ways to register to vote. Registering can be completed online, through the mail, or by returning voter registration cards to your local County Clerk’s office.

By 4:00 pm local time, online registration must be completed in order to be able to vote in November. If using the mail to register to vote, the registration must be postmarked October 5th or earlier.

The Biblical truth that we must keep at the forefront of our minds when we enter the ballot box is this: when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, and when the wicked rule, the people suffer (Proverbs 29:2). Let us all seek God’s wisdom and cast votes for those who will lead righteously and bring honor to the Lord.

LET US PRAY…

Father, empower Kentuckians across our state to vote for candidates who will lead in a way that brings honor and glory to You on November 3rd. Lord, we thank You for the incredible blessing of living in a free nation where we have the joyful responsibility of choosing our leaders. Father, as we are closing in on November 3rd, may we keep at the forefront of our minds the truth that righteousness exalts a nation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
