Let Us Pray

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.” – Psalm 139:13

Pro-abortion activists have been desperately trying to keep abortion legal in Kentucky and to keep Kentucky’s two abortion mills operating since June 24, 2022, when Roe v. Wade was overturned in the decision of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. These pro-abortion advocates have specifically taken aim at the “Human Life Protection Act” that became law in Kentucky the day Roe fell.

“The Human Life Protection Act,” also known as the “trigger” abortion ban prohibits abortions in Kentucky unless the procedure is critical to saving the mother’s life. On July 22, 2022, after a lawsuit had been filed on the “trigger” ban, Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge Mitch Perry issued a temporary injunction halting the “trigger” ban.

This activist ruling allowed for the abortion mills in Kentucky to proceed forward in the vile practice of performing abortions. Soon thereafter, however, the Kentucky Court of Appeals overruled Judge Perry’s decision, thus allowing the “trigger” abortion ban to remain in effect in Kentucky once more.

Thankfully, the Kentucky Supreme Court recently issued an order that allows the “Human Life Protection Act” to remain in effect here in Kentucky. All of this emphasizes once more why Kentuckians must vote “Yes for Life” on November 8th in order to protect our Commonwealth from allowing activist judges to fictionally create some imaginary right to abortion.

LET US PRAY…
Father, we praise You for this decision by our Commonwealth’s High Court to protect human life. Lord, may Kentuckians in great numbers flood the voting centers throughout our state on November 8th and cast their votes to protect human life. Father, may we be steadfast defenders of the precious life You create. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
