Let Us Pray

“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” – Proverbs 11:2

In 1916, then U.S. President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation establishing June 14th as Flag Day. Flag Day is a day set aside annually for Americans to celebrate the history of the American Flag and what the stars and stripes symbolize to this very day.

In 1782, the Congress of the Confederation detailed and described the meanings of the red, white, and blue colors that constitute our great flag. The color red signifies “valor and hardness,” the color white symbolizes “purity and innocence,” and the color blue represents “vigilance, perseverance, and justice.”

With our American flag in focus on this day, it brings attention to the actions of the Biden White House on Saturday that regrettably created a flag fiasco. Days ago, on the White House, on the side that faces the South Lawn, hung three large flags. Two of the flags were our greatly revered American flags, and the other one was a rainbow-colored “Progress Pride” flag which was actually the one displayed in the middle.

It is being argued that the Biden administration with this action violated the U.S. Flag Code which states that the American flag is to always be at the center when numerous flags are being displayed. In any case, it is clear that the Biden White House chose to make the “Progress Pride” flag more prominent than the great American flag on the White House during an event on Saturday.

This current fiasco by the Biden administration has offended many Americans as the flag that represents the LGBT worldview, which is an anti-Biblical worldview, was displayed in a superior location to that of two flags that are beloved and represent valor, purity, vigilance, perseverance, and justice. The White House should never display the American flag in such a way that it could ever even be considered as being inferior to a flag that ultimately represents sin.

LET US PRAY…

Father, we praise You for allowing us to live in this great nation. Lord, thank You for all of the wonderful and great things that our American flag represents. Father, please open the spiritual eyes of our President and his administration to see the reality that celebrating “Pride” this month is really a celebration of sin. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
