Clarity Amid Considerable Chaos

“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” – John 17:17

In our culture, it seems to even be an understatement to claim that our society today is considerably chaotic. This measurable chaos we are experiencing as a nation is immensely concerning as it feels at times that we are on the brink of running off the rails.
The chaos in America today in many ways is boiled down to the contemporary worldview that many have adopted that somehow truth is subjective. That is to say, truth is whatever one wants it to be and can change on a whim.

To elucidate the fact that many believe truth is subjective consider these examples; one, what constitutes a marriage is now debated, two, it is argued one can now choose their own gender regardless of their biological sex, three, there is a debate of whether or not a person in the womb is truly a human being or not.

When foundational truths that have always been accepted like that of marriage being between one man and one woman, the immutability of one’s biological sex, and human life beginning at the point of fertilization are at large rejected and manipulated, it only results in chaos.

Simply put, when Biblical truth is abandoned and a culture has stopped living under the Bible’s authority, only disorder and confusion can ensue. Thankfully, as believers no matter how chaotic our society becomes, we can have clarity as we know that ultimate truth can only be found in the Word of God. Let us be conduits of God’s truth in our culture and be His avenue to reestablish objective truth that is only found in His Word here in Kentucky and throughout America.

LET US PRAY…

Father, thank You that we may know Your truth even in an age of complete confusion and chaos. Lord, help us to be Your conduits in this world so that Your truth can be advanced. Father, help us to be effective advocates for You in all areas of our lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
