Biden Picks Radical Supreme Court Nominee (March 2, 2022)

“Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times!” – Psalm 106:3

One of the most influential, important, and lasting decisions that a President of the United States will make during their time in office is their selection of U.S. Supreme Court nominees. When a U.S. President selects a Supreme Court nominee it is for a lifetime appointment, and that decision can determine the direction of our country for decades to come.

On Friday, February 25, 2022, President Biden announced the appointment of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court. This appointment is set to replace Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer who has announced his plans to retire.

President Biden with his nomination of Judge Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court fulfilled one of the promises he made on the campaign trail to use race and sex to determine who his nominee would be. It is certainly disappointing that he was content with narrowing the scope of potential candidates in order to appease his left-wing base.

Furthermore, an overview of Judge Jackson’s record reveals that she is nothing short of a radical nominee. Jackson’s history reveals troubling patterns as a judge and poses serious questions about her ability to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court.

The president of the Heritage Foundation, Dr. Kevin Roberts said, “Her limited judicial record reveals that Jackson has consistently ignored the Constitution, twisting the law to favor certain outcomes. Judges should play a limited role in our government, yet Jackson’s far-left supporters want her to impose a political agenda that invents new rights or erases rights she doesn’t like.”

LET US PRAY . . .
Father, empower the U.S. Congress to reject this radical nominee from sitting on the most influential Court in America. Father, we pray that the U.S. Supreme Court will rule righteously on all matters that are and will be considered. Lord, please raise up justices in our nation who observe justice and who do righteousness at all times. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
