Beshear Doubles Down on Transgender Insanity

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4

Ahead of the crucial November 3rd midterm elections, high-profile politicians are working overtime to try to convince voters to vote for candidates in their political party and vote for issues that align with their party’s platform. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear recently appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” with Jake Tapper, where he doubled down on his and the Democratic Party’s support for transgender insanity.

Tapper challenged Beshear about his veto of Kentucky Senate Bill 83, the “Save Women’s Sports Act,” in 2022, which prohibits males from competing in female sports in Kentucky. In response, Governor Beshear doubled down on his insanity saying, “Here’s my take. We don’t throw anybody under the bus… That is not the party that we are. We start as a party of compassion and empathy.”

Also, in the interview, Beshear defended his 2023 veto of Kentucky Senate Bill 150 that protects Kentucky’s children from the devastating use of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgical mutilation in transgender “transition” procedures. Thankfully, the Kentucky legislature later overrode both of Beshear’s vetoes.

Governor Beshear’s hypocrisy is simply mind-boggling. He claims everyone should be treated fairly, while demeaning women and girls by saying men should be allowed in their locker rooms and to compete against them to steal their trophies, championships, and opportunities. There is nothing fair about Gov. Beshear choosing radical LGBTQ ideology over the privacy, safety, and dignity of women and girls.

In the interview, Beshear stated, “Sports need to be fair, and there should be no unfair advantage.” If the Governor truly cared about that, he wouldn’t be so adamant about men competing against women. Time and time again, we see that when men are allowed to play in women’s sports, women always lose and can even get hurt. Instead of denying reality, the governor needs to align himself with it.

The fairness in sports Beshear claims he wants only comes when males compete against males and females compete against females. The governor would do well to care more about the women and girls who want their sports protected instead of the gender confused men who want to infiltrate those sports.

LET US PRAY…

Father, we praise You that in Kentucky, female athletes are protected from males invading and destroying their sports. Lord, we praise You that in our state, minors are protected from the lifelong damage that is inflicted on vulnerable children who receive transgender procedures. Father, please enable Governor Beshear to see the wickedness that he is promoting as he advocates for the LGBTQ agenda. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
