Let Us Pray

America's Genocide (December 6, 2021)

“You shall not murder.” – Exodus 20:13

Although not spoken of in these harsh terms, nevertheless, the truth is there is an act of genocide raging across the United States of America right now. The American genocide started in 1973 in the case of Roe v. Wade when abortion was legalized.

The procedure of abortion itself, through both surgical and chemical means, has killed over 62 million Americans in the womb. Recent statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reveal that 1.89 out of every 10 reported pregnancies end in abortion.

Consider this horrific fact, at the end of this day, just in this one day, 2,363 Americans will have been killed by abortion. Furthermore, by the time you are finished reading this “Let Us Pray” at least one child has been aborted in America. Research now reveals that Planned Parenthood alone aborts one child every 90 seconds.

Americans inside the womb are endowed with the same rights as Americans outside the womb. Americans inside the womb also have the right to LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness given to them by their Creator. As long as this genocide continues America will never experience the height of God’s blessings, as God never blesses a nation that continues on a path of sin.

This is why the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health is so vitally important as this case could bring an end to Roe. Let us commit to fervently pray for the Justices on the United States Supreme Court as they prepare to rule on this case.

LET US PRAY . . .
Father, help America as a collective nation to honor human life, as every human being has intrinsic worth from bearing Your image. Father, we plead for You to step in and empower each Justice to rule righteously in this case, to bring an end to this horrific genocide that has raged across our nation since 1973. Lord, please help every pregnant mother in crisis to choose life and honor You. Father, thank You for the gift of life and help us to advocate for life in every way we can. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
