Abortion Industry Once Again Targets KY’s Pro-Life Laws

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.” – Psalm 139:13

Last week, the abortion industry once again targeted Kentucky’s pro-life laws by filing a new lawsuit to bring them down. On December 8, 2023, Planned Parenthood and the ACLU filed a new legal challenge that seeks to overturn the duly enacted Human Life Protection Act and the Heartbeat Law.

The abortion industry’s constitutional arguments in the lawsuit are unsound, faulty, and greatly distorted as they will endanger all of Kentucky’s pro-life laws. In fact, Kentucky’s bans on late-term abortions and discriminatory abortions are at great risk because of the flawed lawsuit.

The lawsuit from the abortion industry absurdly suggests that somehow the Kentucky Constitution includes a secret right to abortion. This is an erroneous suggestion in light of Kentucky’s overwhelming 150-year pro-life history.

As the abortion industry once again takes aim at Kentucky’s pro-life laws it reinforces once more that the billion-dollar giant is completely focused on the termination of innocent life and the profit that abortion brings. Kentucky’s pro-life laws have and are saving numerous lives, and this is why Kentucky’s state judges must judge rightly and uphold the duly enacted pro-life laws of the Commonwealth.

LET US PRAY…
Father, thank You for Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s strong defense of pro-life laws, and please empower him and his team as they defend Kentucky’s pro-life laws from this new lawsuit. Lord, empower and strengthen our state judges to rightly uphold Kentucky’s pro-life laws. Father, may we truly do all we can to help Kentucky and America to be a place where all human life is truly valued and defended. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
