Let Us Pray

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” – Deuteronomy 31:6

Believers in Christ are called to be strong and courageous in our culture for God and his truth. Many times, unfortunately, Christians shrink back from taking a stand for Christ and His Word in public for various reasons such as fear, intimidation, etc.

Recently, however, America witnessed a firm believer take a public stand for righteousness in the state of California. Pastor John MacArthur of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, from the pulpit, called out the wicked acts of his Governor, Gavin Newsom.

Pastor MacArthur exemplified what a profile in courage looks like. With strength in his public address to Gov. Newsom, the pastor called him out for grossly misquoting Scripture to support abortion and for promoting immoral policies that advance perverse lifestyles like homosexuality and transgenderism.

May Pastor MacArthur just be one of many pastors, believers, and churches in America that publicly say “no more” to policies, politicians, and leaders that are guiding our country into an abyss of wickedness. If the Body of Christ would determine to be a profile in courage, our nation overnight could become one that is righteous in the sight of God.

LET US PRAY…
Father, thank You, for the courage, strength, and boldness that Pastor MacArthur has displayed in publicly rebuking the wicked actions of Gov. Newsom. Lord, may we as Your Body here in America stand with strength and courage for You and Your truth. Father, help us to lean on You for courage as we know that You will never forsake us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
