Many “non-essential” businesses have been forced to close during the outbreak of COVID-19 per Gov. Beshear’s executive orders. However, elective abortions began during the height of the COVID-19 (late March) and are still being performed by Planned Parenthood in Louisville.

During this pandemic, the nation’s largest abortion provider has even closed some of its non-abortion centers around the country due to COVID concerns, yet make known nearby abortion clinics remain open. Planned Parenthood is going out of its way to ensure abortion will continue to be offered despite the heightened risk to contract a life-threatening disease.

Advocates even promote abortion as an essential option, particularly during a time of job, food and health insecurity. Due to its financially lucrative nature, abortion always has been and always will be priority number one for Planned Parenthood.
