CITIZEN: ‘Transgender’ Worldview is Crumbling Under the Weight of Its Own Inconsistencies

Baxter Boyd, the Director of The Family Foundation's Church Ambassador Network, examines the 'transgender' worldview.

The transgender worldview is more than just a bit confusing; it is literally nonsensical, as it has no foundational basis in reality and denies objective truth. Transgender ideology is completely laced with glaring contradictions and inconsistencies.

The idea behind the transgender worldview can be boiled down to the concept that one truly is what one believes they are in the mind alone. In other words, the physiological makeup of one’s body, being that of either a male or female, means nothing in determining what gender one is — one’s gender is totally determined in the mind and is chosen only from a psychological standpoint.

Let me note a few of the many contradictions found within the transgender worldview:

CONTRADICTION: Why is claiming to be ‘transgender’ necessary?

First, if one’s gender is determined in the mind alone, then how can one be “transgender,” which is an assertion that one is confined physically to the wrong gendered body? Simply put, if one’s gender is a psychological choice then claiming to be “transgender” is totally unnecessary as it does not matter what one’s biological sex is. This reveals an inconsistency in the transgender worldview, as it shows that the ideology is concerned with the material body and realizes that one’s gender is not chosen in the mind alone.

CONTRADICTION: Why are procedures to physically ‘transition’ necessary?

Second, once again, if one’s gender is determined in the mind alone then why is the transgender movement so radically advocating for medical “transition” methods such as cross-sex hormones and surgical mutilation? It is completely self-refuting to claim on one hand that gender is determined only in the mind, and then advocate for “transition” procedures so that an individual can attempt to “transition” physically to the opposite sex. Again, this reveals a clear contradiction. The transgender movement knows that gender is not a psychological determination because if it was, and had nothing to do with the material body, then medical “transition” procedures would be unnecessary.

CONTRADICTION: Why can’t other biological realities be chosen?

Third, if one can be “transgender” because gender is decided in the mind alone, can one also be trans-animal, trans-racial, or trans-age? If those who advocate for the transgender worldview desire to be logically consistent then they must agree that anyone can identify as an animal, another race, or another age, because from the viewpoint of transgender ideology biological reality is completely decided in the mind of an individual. Once again, here lies another glaring contradiction within the transgender worldview, if gender is determined in the mind alone then logically one should also be able to determine their race or age simply in the mind, but many transgender activists would deny this.

These are just a few of the many obvious contradictions and inconsistencies found within the transgender worldview.

Thankfully, Americans are waking up to these contradictions and realizing how faulty and incoherent transgender ideology truly is.
This is seen nowhere greater than with the Bud Light situation. Earlier this year, Bud Light, an Anheuser-Busch company, decided to actively advocate for transgender ideology by partnering with transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney.

Dylan Mulvaney is a twenty-six-year-old biological male who identifies as a “transgender girl.” Anheuser-Busch recently partnered with Mulvaney to promote Bud Light to a younger demographic. The Bud Light brand also sent packs of Bud Light to him with his face on each can in order to celebrate Mulvaney’s one year since beginning his “transition.”

Bud Light partnering with Mulvaney to celebrate the deranged worldview of transgenderism has not been without great loss for the Anheuser-Busch company. This decision by Bud Light has brought about tremendous outrage and has caused the company to see sales decline by 21% since the partnership with Mulvaney was announced. Bud Light is continuing to see its value plummet week by week.

Americans are starting to see the increasing inconsistencies and contradictions within the transgender ideology. A growing number of Americans are sick and tired of having LGBTQ ideologies pushed upon us and are saying “enough is enough!” to this illogical worldview.

It seems that the transgender worldview is starting to crumble before our very eyes as everyday Americans are rejecting the nonsensical ideology, as it is rooted in nothing more than fairy tale land.
