Last year, the United States Congress passed the so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” This bill included a one-year ban on Planned Parenthood and other abortion mills from receiving taxpayer funds through Medicaid.
This federal action freed millions of Americans from being coerced into funding the vile murder of innocent babies in the womb. Sadly, as of July 4th, the landmark 2025 provision of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” has expired.
This means that Planned Parenthood and other abortion organizations are allowed to once again receive funds from Medicaid. Congress must intervene quickly and pass legislation to defund Planned Parenthood permanently.
No American should be forced to fund an industry responsible for murdering the most vulnerable in our society. Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, rightly said in a statement, “Defunding Big Abortion is now the default expectation of the pro-life movement. When they return to D.C., Republicans must do all they can through reconciliation to once again block taxpayer dollars from Planned Parenthood and abortion businesses.”
As America just celebrated its 250th year of independence and freedom, we must remember that our Declaration of Independence correctly identifies that all people have an inherent right to life. This right was bestowed upon us by our Creator. Using taxpayer money to fund an industry that violates this right for millions of babies is evil and simply un-American

Father, please empower the United States Congress to act quickly to permanently stop Americans from being forced to fund the abortion industry. Lord, may our nation truly uphold the inherent right to life that was given to us by You. Father, strengthen us to advocate and work tirelessly to cultivate a nation where abortion is one day truly unthinkable. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
