Election Resources & Voter Guide

In a recent legal settlement, the IRS confirmed that churches and pastors are free to speak about political issues and even endorse candidates in communications with the church body—sermons, church bulletins, emails to congregation members, etc. We always knew that pastors and churches were not barred from political discussions; however, this settlement from the IRS makes it certain that churches will not be targeted for speaking about Biblical truth in the political realm.

In response to this news, The Family Foundation, in partnership with its allied family policy councils, has released a new resource and Q&A for Pastors and Churches on what the IRS ruling on church endorsements really means.
