On 3rd Anniversary of Dobbs, Pro-Life Kentuckians Must Recommit To Building A Culture That Values and Protects Every Preborn Human Being

LEXINGTON, KY – Three years after the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, The Family Foundation continues to celebrate the restoration of the right of Kentuckians and their elected representatives to end the intentional termination of the lives of preborn babies in the Commonwealth.

While legal challenges brought by the abortion industry have failed to overturn Kentucky’s pro-life laws, the laws of Kentucky and 23 other states continue to be severely undermined by the abortion industry with the proliferation of the mail-order abortion pill. A new Charlotte Lozier Institute study estimates annual abortions nationally to be at least 1.1 million.

Statement from David Walls, Executive Director of The Family Foundation:

“On this 3rd anniversary of the Dobbs decision, we continue to thank the Lord for the reversal of Roe and for the babies who are alive today because of pro-life laws passed by our General Assembly. Life is a gift from God – so we rejoice in every life saved, in every mother protected, and in every abortion mill that has closed its doors.

“However, the pro-life battle is far from over. Today, abortion pill traffickers are blatantly undermining Kentucky laws while Planned Parenthood continues to use our federal tax dollars to promote their abortion-on-demand agenda. Leaders in Frankfort and Washington D.C. must take action to stop the harmful mail-order abortion regime that is plaguing our state and nation, ending the lives of the preborn, and sending mothers to the ER. We must recommit ourselves to building a pro-life culture that values the equal protection of each and every human life created in the image of God,” Walls concluded.
