The battle to protect America’s youth from dangerous and corrupt transgender procedures and ideology continues. The United States House of Representatives at the very end of last year, passed the Protect Children’s Innocence Act.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) took the lead on the legislative measure. The bill passed the House by a small margin with a vote of 216-211. Most Republicans and three Democrats voted in favor of the bill, while most Democrats and four Republicans voted against it. Rep. Morgan McGarvey (D-Louisville) was the lone member of Kentucky’s Congressional delegation to vote against the common sense bill.
This federal legislation would criminalize so-called “gender-affirming care,” which includes the destructive procedures of mutilating surgeries, puberty blockers, and hormone therapies. Providing these destructive “services” to confused and vulnerable children would lead one to face fines, prison time, or possibly both.
The Protect Children’s Innocence Act expands the federal ban on female genital mutilation (FGM) to also encompass enablement or consent by anyone. Children are not experiments and deserve to be protected from the life-long pain and harm that accompany the destructive transgender procedures. Kentucky and more than half the states have already passed similar state-level protections for kids. This bill, which now sits in the United States Senate as it awaits legislative action, should be passed to protect kids nationwide.

Father, we praise You for the action by the U.S. House to pass the Protect Children’s Innocence Act. Lord, please empower the U.S. Senate to act on this legislative measure and pass it. Father, we pray that in America, one day, every child will be protected from the lies of transgender ideology and from the destruction of transgender procedures. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
