“Thus says the LORD of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another.” – Zechariah 7:9
On Wednesday, the United States Supreme Court rendered a true, noble, and righteous judgment as it ruled in favor of Tennessee’s Help Not Harm law. In the immensely important case of United States v. Skrmetti, the High Court in a 6-3 ruling upheld the Tennessee law that protects children from the harmful and dangerous life-altering gender “transition” procedures.
The Supreme Court made the decision to review the law after the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the Tennessee law and Kentucky’s SB 150, which also protects children from dangerous experimental “transition” procedures. Radical LGBT activists were fighting against these laws by erroneously claiming that the Fourteenth Amendment somehow invents a right for children to be mutilated under the guise of gender ideology.
Across the nation, 25 states have now passed laws that are similar to SB 150 here in Kentucky that protect minors from life-altering gender “transition” interventions. Months ago, The Family Foundation, along with other allied family policy organizations, joined an amicus brief supporting Tennessee’s law protecting children against life-altering gender “transition” interventions that cause great harm to their healthy bodies.
Praise be to God, the Supreme Court in this decision delivered a monumental victory for kids as they are now protected from needless harm that accompanies gender “transition” procedures. With this ruling, the High Court has now definitively ruled that these protections, in 25 states, for minors that keep them safe from the irreparable harm from gender “transition” procedures are consistent with the U.S. Constitution.
LET US PRAY…
Father, we praise You that a majority of the U.S. Supreme Court ruled righteously in the case of United States v. Skrmetti to protect minors from the horrors of gender “transition” procedures. Lord, we praise You that in 25 states children are protected from such horrendous “transition” procedures. Father, may this victory for children empower Your people to always stand courageously for Your truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
