In 2021, the Biden Administration, ridiculously, began allowing passport applicants to choose their “gender marker” regardless of their objective biological sex. A passport applicant could choose a gender marker indicating that they were either male, female, non-binary, intersex, or a gender non-conforming person.
Earlier this year, President Trump announced in his inaugural address that the official policy of the United States government would be that there are only two genders, male and female. Later that day, the President signed the “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government” executive order, which officially changed the policy of the United States to recognize only two biological sexes, male and female.
Part of the executive order addressed the erroneous issue of the Biden Administration allowing passport applicants to choose their “gender marker.” The passports that would be issued under the Trump Administration, from day one, would only identify one’s biological sex, male or female.
A transgender activist group filed a lawsuit challenging the passport policy, claiming it was discriminatory on the basis of sex. A U.S. District Judge blocked the policy, and then the U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals decided to let the lower-court order remain in effect.
Praise be to God, the United States Supreme Court then stepped in and ruled to uphold the common-sense policy that passports must show one’s biological sex. This is a huge win and another step forward in retrieving a pro-reality and commonsense worldview in the federal government, which was slipping away during the Biden Administration due to their extreme woke policies.

Father, we praise You for the Supreme Court’s decision to reinstate this pro-reality and common-sense policy from the Trump Administration. Lord, we are thankful that the federal government’s policy is returning to a place of sanity. Father, help us to always stand strong for Your objective truth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
