On Monday, Planned Parenthood released its annual report for 2024, and the numbers are nothing short of gut-wrenching. The numbers are staggering on two fronts: first, the number of abortions the organization committed, and second, the amount of taxpayer funds the organization received.
In 2023, Planned Parenthood committed 392,712 abortions and received $699.3 million in taxpayer funds. The 2024 report shows an increase in both the number of abortions committed and the revenue received from taxpayer funds.
In 2024, heartbreakingly, the abortion giant ended the lives of 402,230 individuals in the womb. Planned Parenthood is terminating over 1,100 lives through abortion each and every day.
Sadly, the largest funders of this evil organization are the American taxpayers who funded 39% of the abortion mill’s $2 billion in revenue. Planned Parenthood received $792.2 million in taxpayer funding in 2024. This is a 13% increase in taxpayer funding from the previous report.
Thankfully, there are efforts at the federal level brewing right now aimed at defunding Planned Parenthood. As we witness these staggering numbers coming from Planned Parenthood’s recent report, it reveals that Planned Parenthood cannot be defunded fast enough and that action is needed immediately to that end.

Father, we pray that legislation will be passed very quickly at the federal level to defund Planned Parenthood immediately. Lord, empower us to enact pro-life legislation at the federal, state, and local levels to render Planned Parenthood completely ineffective. Father, may life truly be honored, cherished, and protected in the United States. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
