“But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints.” – Ephesians 5:3

Last year, during the 2025 Kentucky General Assembly, Rep. Bill Wesley (R-Ravenna) took a courageous stand for truth, commonsense, and women, as he stood up to the transgender madness. His courageous stand for truth took place on March 27, 2025, at an LGBTQ pride rally called “trans joy,” held at the Kentucky Capitol, featuring a large man claiming to be a woman in a highly inappropriate sheer dress.
When the man, who identified as a transgender woman, entered the girls’ restroom at the Kentucky State Capitol, which terrified women and young girls, Rep. Wesley rightfully intervened. Rep. Wesley boldly spoke truth to the deranged man, reminding him that he is, in fact, a man and has absolutely no business in private spaces, like a girls’ bathroom.
Due to this appalling situation and numerous others like it, Rep. Wesley recently filed House Bill 867, which would mandate that anybody who uses a restroom in a public building in Kentucky must use the restroom that aligns with their biological sex. The bill extends beyond just bathroom use and also covers all “multi-occupancy private spaces,” which include private areas like locker rooms as well.
More than ten other Republicans have jumped on board in support of this needed legislation, co-sponsoring it. Hopefully, this commonsense bill will be passed by the General Assembly because no woman or young girl should have to worry about a man walking into their bathrooms or locker rooms.
LET US PRAY…
Father, we praise You for Rep. Bill Wesley and for his courage to stand for truth. Lord, we pray that House Bill 867 will move quickly and pass both the Kentucky House and Senate. Father, empower us to be strong for You and intervene with boldness for Your truth when it is necessary. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
