Los Angeles Dodgers Lose Big in More than One Way

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” – Romans 12:21

On Friday, the Los Angeles Dodgers hosted “Pride Night” where they lost big time to the San Francisco Giants 15-0, which is the biggest loss the team has suffered at a home game in 125 years. The Dodgers, however, experienced another massive loss before the whopping defeat to the Giants.

An hour before the first pitch in a pre-game ceremony, the Dodgers, after weeks of a back-and-forth debate, went forward in honoring the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, which is an LGBT group, to a nearly empty stadium with the Community Hero Award. It is important to note, that the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are not only LGBT activists but are literally involved and act in ways that are blasphemous to the Christian faith.

For example, the Sisters dress up as drag nuns and in a disgusting manner sexually dance on crosses and crucifixes. The Dodgers with this action have caused the organization to lose big time in the eyes of faithful Christians.

Thankfully, the faithful pushed back, outside of the stadium thousands of people gathered and rallied against the pre-game ceremony as they prayed and sang worship music. In fact, the crowd was so large that the front entrance to the stadium was closed for a while.

Christians in the Los Angeles area made it clear to the Dodgers organization that they will not sit back in silence while their Christian faith is mocked and ridiculed. It is heartening to see American believers across the nation take a stand for the Christian faith and push back against those who desire to force the LGBT agenda, which is an anit-Biblical agenda, on us. More and more American believers are drawing a line in the sand on these so-called “Pride” events where they are simply saying, “No More!”

LET US PRAY…

Father, please bless those who stood up against the pre-game ceremony that mocked our faith at the Dodgers game on Friday. Lord, please continue to empower Your people all across our nation to continue to stand up for Your truth. Father, please help our nation to collectively return to Your truth about marriage and human sexuality. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
