Let Us Pray

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
– 2 Timothy 4:7

In his second letter to Timothy, the Apostle Paul wrote to him at the end of his life as he was facing death. In 2 Timothy 4:7 Paul confidently stated, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

These words were not only highlighting the fact that Paul was finishing his life in faithfulness to Christ but these words were also intended to be a charge to the young Timothy and to all believers. Paul wrote these words for Timothy and for us today, to encourage us that no matter how strenuous the fight becomes, we must keep fighting and remain faithful to our Lord.

No matter how tiring it might get in fighting the good fight and finishing well, we are to never back away, bow down, or give up. We are to remain steadfast in our faithfulness to God and boldly continue in our efforts to please Him in this race we are in.

With less than one month away from the November 8th “Yes for Life” Amendment vote, we must keep fighting to win the hearts and minds of Kentuckians to cast votes for righteousness to protect life here in Kentucky. Let us fight this fight and run this race with great endurance so at the end we can say we “have kept the faith.”

LET US PRAY…
Father, give us the strength we need to win hearts and minds to vote for the “Yes for Life” Amendment on November 8th. Lord, help us with endurance to run the race You have set before us well. Father, may You be glorified as we strive to finish the race and keep the faith. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
