Let Us Pray

House Bill 3 Temporarily Blocked (April 22, 2022)

“Did not he who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers?” – Job 31:15

Almost instantly, once House Bill 3, the “Humanity in Healthcare Act” was passed by the Kentucky General Assembly into law, it was clear that the pro-life omnibus bill was under siege from pro-abortion advocates. The two abortion facilities in the state, both located in Louisville, the ACLU, and Planned Parenthood filed legal challenges to the bill immediately.

The aim of these two abortion mills in going to court was to block House Bill 3 from being enforced in the Commonwealth. Unfortunately, yesterday afternoon a federal judge in Kentucky issued a temporary order blocking House Bill 3.

This stunt by the ACLU and Planned Parenthood in Louisville, reveals the true aspirations of the abortion industry. Their goal has never been about the safety and protection of women and their pre-born children as this bill enhanced. Rather their goal has always been centered around one overarching theme, the innocent butchering of Americans in the womb.

We praise God, that Attorney General Cameron has pledged and promised that he and his office will uphold and defend the pro-life protections in House Bill 3. As this case moves forward, let us commit to prayer in the coming days that this “temporary” ban on House Bill 3, will be just that, extremely “temporary.” Women and pre-born children deserve the protections that House Bill 3 offers and that the General Assembly overwhelmingly passed.

LET US PRAY…

Father, may House Bill 3 be reinstated quickly in our Commonwealth. Father, empower judges in this case and throughout our nation to rule righteously and defend the dignity of human life. Lord, may Kentucky be a state where You are truly honored and life is truly cherished. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
