The United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) just released an important peer-reviewed report entitled “Treatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria; Review of Evidence and Best Practices.” In this report, top-notch experts were compiled from disciplines and professional backgrounds spanning medicine, bioethics, psychology, and philosophy to evaluate the effects of transgender procedures on children thoroughly.
The experts’ thorough research, unsurprisingly, revealed that children who undergo transgender procedures are extensively harmed. The report revealed that damage resulting from sex-rejecting procedures, which include puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgical mutilation, is “significant, long term, and too often ignored or inadequately tracked.”
The sad reality is that the evidence in the report clearly shows that there are a multitude of long-term health risks that accompany transgender procedures for children, such as infertility. The comprehensive 410-page report also describes the “very low-quality” evidence that the transgender medical movement was built on to target children. HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. strongly stated that, “…so-called ‘gender-affirming care’ has inflicted lasting physical and psychological damage on vulnerable young people. That is not medicine — it’s malpractice.”
It is beyond time for the entire medical field in America to admit that sex-rejecting, gender “transition” procedures inflict a lifetime of physical and psychological damage on children, and that it is not medicine; it is malpractice. The American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics need to understand that as long as they continue to support transgender procedures on children, they are clearly denouncing the oath they took to “do no harm.”

Father, we are thankful for the courage of the Trump Administration’s Department of Health and Human Services in publishing this extremely important report on the damage that transgender procedures are inflicting on vulnerable children. Lord, may this report prompt members of Congress to combat gender ideology at the federal level. Father, we praise You that here in Kentucky, minors are protected from these extremely dangerous procedures. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
