Days ago, the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released an important study entitled, “Treatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria Review of Evidence and Best Practices.” This document is a comprehensive review evaluating the evidence for how to best treat minors who experience “gender dysphoria.”
The study, not shockingly, revealed that “gender-affirming care” is extremely harmful for minors who undergo the dangerous transition procedures. The document reveals the damage that is caused to minors who receive transgender procedures such as cross-sex hormone therapy, puberty suppressants, surgical mutilation, and more.
The review states, “These interventions carry risk of significant harms including infertility/sterility, sexual dysfunction, impaired bone density accrual, adverse cognitive impacts, cardiovascular disease and metabolic disorders, psychiatric disorders, surgical complications, and regret.” The massive 409-page review not only details the ill effects minors experience when they undergo transgender procedures, but it also details that minors experience virtually no benefits of the procedures.
The document reads, “The review highlights a growing body of evidence pointing to significant risks – including irreversible harms such as infertility – while finding very weak evidence of benefit. That weakness has been a consistent finding of systematic reviews of evidence around the world.”
The study cites that nations all across the globe are outlawing these dangerous life-altering transgender procedures for minors as they are destroying healthy young bodies. It is time for the United States to do the same at the federal level!

Father, may this review that is based on medical evidence prompt the United States to outlaw transgender procedures for minors in totality at the federal level. Lord, we praise You that here in Kentucky minors are protected from these extremely dangerous procedures. Father, we praise You for the courage of the HHS in publishing this review.
