Fifth Circuit Court Delivers a Victory for the Pro-Life Movement and for the Safety of Women

For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.” – Deuteronomy 20:4

Earlier this month, on August 16th, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit ruled on the immensely important case of Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Thankfully, in this case, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit delivered a tremendous victory for the pro-life movement and for the safety and health of women.

The court ruled unanimously to reverse the Biden administration’s allowance of abortion pills to be sent through the mail. This will also put to an end the wrongful shipping of mifepristone, the abortion pill, across state lines into pro-life states.

The court in this decision delivered a sizeable victory for the pro-life movement. This decision is huge for the pre-born, as it is believed that this decision could save tens of thousands of lives.

This is also a massive win for the safety and health of women due to all of the negative health effects mifepristone is having on women who take it. The court cited the FDA’s own data that shows, “thousands of women, and as many as hundreds of thousands, have experienced serious adverse effects as a result of taking the drug, and required surgery or emergency care to treat those effects.”

Praise be to God, due to this ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the FDA is finally being held accountable for its careless dismissal of the law, the safety and health of women, and the pre-born.

LET US PRAY…

Father, thank You for this righteous ruling that protects the pre-born and the health and safety of women that was delivered by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Lord, please convict the Biden administration of their serious errors concerning how they view the issue of abortion, and may they change course. Father, empower us to be faithful and effective advocates for the pre-born. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
