Concerned Parents Struggle to Have Voices Heard

“You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” – Deuteronomy 11:19

Several public school districts throughout Kentucky are bending their knee in submission to transgender/LGBTQ ideology and pressure. This is seen specifically by the fact that various schools in our Commonwealth are allowing students’ privacy to be immolated by permitting students to access restrooms, locker rooms, and shower rooms that align with their gender identity regardless of their biological sex.

There is an ongoing issue in the Woodford County school system right now where parents are very concerned because of a biological male who continuously goes into the girl’s restroom, thus stripping away privacy from biological females in the school. Alarmed parents contacted school officials in an attempt to find answers and have been earnestly requesting a time to address the issue since at least November 1, 2022.

Finally, on Monday evening, the Woodford County School Board allowed the concerned parents to bring the issue up in front of the school board members and school administrators. After months of not being able to voice their concerns, alarmed parents were finally allowed to because the district is building a new High School and are considering input on the design of the restroom areas.

After four parents voiced their concerns to a standing-room-only crowd, the school board members and administrators offered no response at all. This puts into focus that it is beyond time for Kentucky students in public schools to have their privacy protected from the radical transgender worldview.

This is why it is so vitally important for the Kentucky state legislature to pass Rep. Wesley’s House Bill 30. This bill ensures that students in Kentucky’s public schools could not use bathrooms, locker rooms, shower rooms, or overnight accommodations of the opposite biological sex.

LET US PRAY…

Father, help us as Kentuckians to step up and be courageous in defending Your truth throughout all facets of our culture. Lord, thank You for the courage of these parents being willing to speak up in Woodford County to protect the privacy of the students in the school district. Father, please convict each and every KY legislator to vote in favor of House Bill 30. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
