Unfortunately, there is another abortion death pill horror story, and this time it hits close to home in Bowling Green, KY. Abdullah Mohmand has now been formally charged with fetal homicide for trying to kill his unborn baby.
Mohmand tried to pressure his girlfriend into having an abortion, but she refused to do so. This led to Mohmand attempting to kill his girlfriend’s unborn baby by tricking her into taking the abortion pill, misoprostol, by switching it with her prescription medication.
The Kentucky State Police, after executing a search warrant, found the medication and it was later confirmed to be misoprostol. The Kentucky State Police also located the FedEx envelope that the death pill was shipped in. It was shipped to Mohmand’s apartment using his girlfriend’s name.
It should be noted that this happened and can still happen, in part, because the Trump administration still has not repealed the Biden-era guidelines for abortion death pills. This allows individuals to receive an abortion death pill through the mail without even seeing a doctor. Even worse, men can obtain these death pills by giving a woman’s name. They don’t need to show any proof of identity, and that is exactly what is leading to these real-life horror stories.
The abortion death pill is illegal here in Kentucky, and yet this story once more confirms that these deadly pills are being illegally trafficked into our state. The Trump Administration needs to take action now to stop the mail-order availability of these death pills by repealing the Biden-era guidelines. The Kentucky General Assembly must also act to give more enforcement teeth to abortion pill trafficking. Until this happens, we should expect to see more cases like this, where a man can get a death pill mailed to his house and try to kill his own child by simply swapping his girlfriend’s pills.

Father, please empower the Trump Administration to act swiftly to protect women and the unborn from the deadly abortion drug. Lord, may justice be served in this disturbing and horrific case. Father, strengthen us to effectively advocate for pro-life measures that will protect Kentucky women and unborn children from the deadly abortion drug. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
