Days ago, the U.S. Senate passed the so-called “Infrastructure Bill.” This massive 2,702-page bill should have been focused on specific infrastructure issues like roads, bridges, electric systems, etc.
However, this bill somehow has been manipulated to contain an aggressive LGBTQ+ agenda that has nothing to do with infrastructure. Within the bill, one can find concerning “sexual orientation and gender identity” (SOGI) language, similar to the dangerous “Equality Act.”
Time and again, people of faith have found themselves targeted by so-called SOGI laws; florists, bakers, and t-shirt makers were only the start. More recently we have seen the harmful effects this agenda has on women as it seeks to mandate gender identity ideology which strips women of their rights, privacy, and safety.
Make no mistake about it, this 1 trillion dollar deal in the Senate, although bipartisan, was not a good move for our country. Not only does it add to our national budget deficit, but it promotes ideas that are antithetical to the Word of God.
