Let Us Pray: 2028 U.S. Olympics to Protect Women’s Sports

“Blessed are they who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times!” – Psalm 106:3

Days ago, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) announced that biological men will be barred from participating in and competing in women’s categories for the United States in the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In an update to its athlete safety policy, the USOPC stated in the revision that its aim “emphasizes the importance of ensuring fair and safe competition environments for women.”

In this massive move, the USOPC has stopped the horrendous injustice of allowing biological men to infiltrate, dominate, and destroy women’s sports that far too many women athletes have had to endure. This is more than wonderful news, especially given the controversial Paris Olympics last year.

In the 2024 Summer Paris Olympics, there were biological men who falsely identified as females who were allowed to compete against women boxers. The men sadly destroyed the dreams of many women boxers around the world and also caused great physical harm to the naturally less physically able female competitors.

The USOPC’s decision to update its policy to protect women’s sports follows President Trump’s directive that his Administration outlined in the February executive order titled, “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports.” Also, on the day that the executive order was signed, President Trump stated that his administration would not stand by and allow “men to beat and batter female athletes” at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

Praise the Lord for President Trump’s strong leadership and valiant efforts that are productively protecting women’s sports. This policy change is a massive victory for American female athletes in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, as now they can rest assured their podiums will not be unfairly occupied by men.

LET US PRAY…

Father, we thank You for this decision by the USOPC to bar biological men from participating in women’s sports in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Lord, we praise You for the strong leadership of President Trump in protecting female athletes and women’s sports. Father, empower us to do righteousness at all times. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
