CITIZEN: KY Right to Life endorses against pro-abortion Republican.

Rep. Vanessa Grossl spoke at the Planned Parenthood rally during the 2026 General Assembly.

The Kentucky Right to Life Victory PAC announced that it is endorsing independent candidate Scott Miller for the 88th KY House District over pro-abortion incumbent Rep. Vanessa Grossl (pictured) in the 2026 general election. This comes after Rep. Grossl made history as the first-ever Republican elected official to speak at a Planned Parenthood event in Kentucky, where she claimed that Planned Parenthood provides essential healthcare and sex-ed curriculum. In reality, Planned Parenthood is the nation’s leading abortion mill, promotes radical sex-ed programs, and has also established itself as a growing national provider of gender “transitions” to minors—pure evil.

This decision from KY Right to Life to support an independent candidate against a Republican incumbent is noteworthy and reflects the unusual circumstance of a Republican incumbent being actively pro-abortion. While not every Republican is strongly pro-life, most do not openly collaborate with Planned Parenthood. This situation is another reminder to research the candidates on your ballot—Republican does not always equal conservative.
