CITIZEN: A tipping point for faith, family, and freedom.

In the midst of spiritual and moral confusion, Kentucky must be a steadfast voice for truth and God-honoring values.

We are living in a profound moment of cultural and spiritual challenge. Across our nation, Christians are facing unprecedented pressure for standing firm in their faith. Parents are being targeted for resisting radical ideologies in schools, medical professionals are jeopardizing their careers for speaking truth, girls are being told to sacrifice their privacy, safety, and opportunity for gender-confused men—faithful Christians everywhere are facing cultural hostility.

Just recently, this hostility hit even closer to home. Jason McGuire, our counterpart who leads New York Families, was recently thrown in jail by New York AG Letitia James because he dared to speak against her pro-abortion policies. The cost of speaking biblical truth with conviction is rising.

But there is also much to be encouraged about here in Kentucky. We recently hosted our largest-ever KY Family Forum, a testament to the growing commitment of Christians and elected leaders to serve faithfully in shaping our culture. Together, through education, advocacy, and prayer, we are forging a path forward.

On the national stage, our family policy council movement has seen remarkable victories protecting children from gender transitions, online pornography, and upholding parents’ rights. Each of these victories demonstrates that faith and courage can truly transform laws and lives not just in Kentucky, but across the nation.

And a major new case before the U.S. Supreme Court, challenging state Save Girls’ Sports Laws, underscores the ongoing battle for truth and biological reality in our society. It is essential that we win this war on women and biology once and for all, ensuring fairness and safety for generations to come.

Despite these achievements, we stand at a tipping point. The 2026 General Assembly presents both an opportunity and a challenge. We must push forward to further protect our children and defend the family. This includes strengthening religious liberty, protecting medical conscience and parental rights, keeping men out of women’s private spaces, and protecting the preborn by combating the abortion death pill. The battle is heating up, and the stakes have never been higher.

Which is why I am excited to share that TFF is a partner in the exciting America Reads the Bible event. Set for April 18-25, 2026, at the Museum of the Bible in D.C., this historic week-long event will feature leaders from every sphere reading Scripture aloud from beginning to end, Genesis to Revelation. As we celebrate America’s 250th year of freedom, this powerful movement aims to reignite America’s spiritual foundation and equip millions to carry God’s Word forward.

Our nation must return to God and to His word. And Kentucky’s families need a steadfast voice for truth and for Biblical values. Together, we must be that voice for the next generation. Now is the time for us to advance faith, family, and freedom!
