For far too long, the Left’s radical sexual education programs have had nearly unlimited access to public schools throughout America. Sadly, these so-called “Teen Pregnancy Prevention” programs sought to sexualize America’s youth, push radical LGBTQ ideology on them, and promote abortion.
These sexual education programs never truly existed to educate children to make healthy, good, and right choices. They existed to make sexual activity for children normal. Thankfully, the Trump Administration has seen this and slashed federal funding for Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs (TPPP). The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that it relocated almost $70 million that used to go to TPPP. The funds will now go to programs that emphasize abstinence and marriage.
The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) stated that the department will ensure that the educational programs for students will “not promote harmful ideologies, such as gender ideology and discriminatory equity ideology. OASH will focus on programs that do not promote material that depicts, describes, exposes or presents obscene, indecent, or sexually explicit content… including content that encourages, normalizes or promotes sexual activity for minors.”
OASH also said it will defend, “to the fullest extent of its authority under the law… parents’ right to protect their children from exposure to content that burdens the exercise of their religious beliefs.” This is welcomed news. Schools were never meant to be a place for sexualizing children and pushing harmful LGBTQ ideologies on them. Instead, they should teach abstinence and marriage which are proven keys to success.

Father, we praise You for this right and courageous action by the Trump Administration to defund the left’s sex ed programs. Lord, may America’s children truly understand Your good design of marriage and the blessing that it is. Father, empower us to glorify You by living lives of holiness and honor. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
