Rep. Donna Mayfield & Sen. C.B. Embry

These two Concurrent Resolutions, one in the House and one the Senate, urge Congress to close the loophole in the Federal Communications Decency Act that gives almost complete immunity to online sites such as “” that knowingly and recklessly advertise sex to connect their “customers” with trafficking victims.  Note: A bill is currently before Congress. This common sense legislation is backed  by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Shared Hope International and encouragement from judges as well as 51 Attorneys General who say their hands are tied with the current Federal Communications Decency Act.
