Requires abortionist to offer face-to-face consultation and availability of ultrasound for patient.
Update: SB 9 passed the full Senate on Jan. 6 with a 32-5 vote (see page 2). It was assigned to the House Health & Welfare Committee on Feb. 1

The Neighborhood Schools Act – Senate Bill 3
Allows for the creation of Charter Schools and for each student to attend the school closes to his or her home. It would also undo the “Student Assignment Plan” currently being enacted in Jefferson County.
Update: SB 3 passed the full Senate on Jan. 7 with a 21-17 vote (see page 2). It was assigned to the House Education Committee on Feb. 4.
